The grandest Louis XIII (1628) apartments remaining in France, with painted, sculpted and goldleafed panelling and ceilings.
Fully furnished with tapestries, vast stone staircase (1623), picturesque kitchen, and drawing-room decorated in 1900 for an Opera director.
25 acres of grounds, flower borders, extensive box maze, old fashioned kitchen garden, etc. Tea room (open afternoons in the summer).
