Pierreclos castle

The Château de Pierreclos is a historic family-owned wine estate and one of the oldest vineyards in Burgundy.
Pierreclos takes its name from the rocky spur planted with vines since the 6th century, known as Petra Clausa, meaning “Stone Enclosure.” It was once owned by the canons of Saint-Vincent of Mâcon and later by the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Cluny.
Today, through our various activities, we are proud to share this unique heritage with you.

Tasting at the Shop

We welcome you to our boutique for a tasting of our different appellations: Mâcon-Villages, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru, and Bourgogne Pinot Noir.

Tasting Workshop – “The Essentials”

This workshop invites you to discover the keys to a successful tasting experience through your senses. In an exceptional setting and a friendly atmosphere, we offer a tasting of 2 white wines (Mâcon-Pierreclos and Pouilly-Fuissé) and 1 red wine (Bourgogne Pinot Noir) from our organically farmed estate.

Workshop – “The Grand Tasting”

This workshop allows you to deepen your knowledge of wine tasting and the Mâconnais vineyard. Held on the ground floor of one of the château’s towers, this privileged moment includes a tasting of 4 white wines (Mâcon-Pierreclos, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, and Pouilly-Fuissé Premier Cru) and 1 red wine (Bourgogne Pinot Noir) from our organic estate. To accompany the wines, 4 food pairings are served to highlight the art of food and wine pairing.
